This policy explains how DUKE EV, the EV charging division of DUKE Electrical Group, handles personal information collected through this website. We aim to follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
When you send an enquiry we collect the details you give us: your name, phone number, email address, suburb and anything you write in the message, such as your car model, where it parks or the charger you have in mind. Our forms also record the page you sent the enquiry from, the date and time, your browser type and your IP address, which helps us spot spam and fix problems with the form.
If you call us, we may note your name, number and the details of your job so we can quote or follow up.
How we use it
- To answer your enquiry, arrange a site visit and prepare a quote.
- To carry out and certify electrical work you ask us to do, and to keep the records the law requires.
- To contact you about that work, including warranty and follow-up questions.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
Who sees it
Enquiries go to the DUKE EV and DUKE Electrical Group team members who handle quotes and jobs. We also use service providers to run the business, such as our website host and email services, and they only receive what they need to provide that service. Where electrical work needs paperwork lodged with a regulator or an electricity distributor, we provide the details that process requires.
Storage and security
Enquiries are stored in our website database and our email system. We take reasonable steps to protect them from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we delete or de-identify information we no longer need, subject to any legal requirement to keep records.
Cookies
This website uses essential cookies to work properly and to remember your cookie choices. Optional cookies are only set if you allow them using the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time with the Consent Preferences button. We do not currently run advertising or analytics tags on this website.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or raise a privacy concern, using our contact form, by calling 1300 003 853, or by writing to DUKE EV, 128 Toorak Rd, South Yarra VIC 3141. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
We may update this policy from time to time. This version was published in October 2026.
